Graphic memoir

A Work in progress

The idea of shaping the sketchbook pages into digital images, whether as blog posts or to print, has been a long time coming. The written memoir, My Skin Is the River, A Mother’s Book of Grief began as a thesis when I returned to college in my 40s, and I’ve continued writing ever since. It’s only recently that the two threads of writing and sketching have asked to be blended together.
